Charlotte Tilbury Mini Miracle Eye Wand Review

My latest Charlotte Tilbury purchase is the Mini Miracle Eye Wand. As I’ve written about before, my biggest beauty bug bear is eye bags! This promised to create the appearance of 8 hours sleep in two clicks!

As with other Charlotte Tilbury products, the Mini Miracle Eye Wand comes in elegant white and gold packaging. The wand itself is double ended with a hydrating eye cream at one end and a light reflecting concealer at the other.

The eye cream is light and thin and goes on clear. Gently tap the applicator across the under eye area, then use your fourth figure to dab and blend in.  It dries with a slight sheen and tack to it, making it a perfect base for the concealer.

Once you have applied your foundation, then use the other end of the wand to apply the concealer. Apply directly to the under eye area sweeping out from the inner eye out along the lower lash line working down the dark circles. Then use your fourth finger again, to pat the product into the skin.

I used the Shade 2, a neutral beige shade for light skin tones that blends perfectly with my usual foundation, the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation in Fair. It noticeably brightens the under eye area, and the durability on the skin is great. It lasts really well all day. To make it last even longer and stop smudging eye make up, I dab the Benefit POREfessional Agent Zero Shine powder on top as well.

So far, I’ve used it every day for a month but it’s going to need to last a lot longer to be worth the money. A couple of friends of mine have bought this product and have disappointingly told me it doesn’t last that long and the eye cream seems to run out faster than the conceal. But I will keep you updated!
