The next in the Essentials Edit, is Mac Cosmetics Lip Conditioner (tube).
MAC describes it as “An emollient-based balm that conditions lips, locks in moisture and gives a soft shine.” An emollient just means its soothing or softening to the skin. It’s a lovely, really nice smelling moisturiser. You can either apply directly with its new tube shaped packaging, or just rub in a little with your fingers.
It’s a great base for lipsticks and lip pencils but you do need to give it about half an hour to fully sink in before you apply lipstick on top, so you want to put this on with your primer at the beginning of your make up routine.
It can also be worn on it’s own to give your lips a soft shine. It’s a great lip balm, it’s very soothing and it doesn’t live a sticky residue on your lips when it dries like some do.
Has anyone else tried this? What did you think?
