I’ve read a lot of fantastic February favourites posts the last couple of weeks which has inspired me to do my own (even though it’s almost half way through March now!).
So without further ado here they are (going left to right on the photo):
Ted Baker Pink Body Lotion – This smells delicious, both fruity with the grapefruit mandarin and mango, and floral with neroli and jasmine. It basically smells like summer, I think it’s my subconscious telling me it’s fed up of winter now! It has a smooth texture, a little goes a long way and the packaging is lovely, so will sit nicely on any dresser. You can pick up for £8 in Boots.
Benefit They’re Real Mascara – love this mascara, I can genuinely see a massive difference in the length of my lashes, it’s not 100% smudge proof but performs way better than the vast majority of mascaras i’ve tried and i’m happy to put up with it given the benefits. I’m using black at the moment also really love the blue colour, always get a lot of comments from people when wearing that, both cost £20.50 in Boots.
Clinique Peony Pop Matte Lip Colour + Primer – This is my go-to daily shade at the moment, great colour, very flattering. I much prefer matte look lipsticks to a glossy one, so this suits me perfectly. It lasts for ages and doesn’t dry out my lips. Can get from Clinique or Boots for £16.50.
Camel Milk White Volume Moisturiser – very moisturising and brightening on the skin, perfect for the cold weather at the moment. Won’t repeat myself so more about that in my Camel Milk Review. You can pick up from TK Maxx or Amazon.
Bumble and Bumble Brillatine – So the idea is that this gives the hair a slept in, sexy look with shine and separation. I love it. Since cutting all my hair off (a huge mistake and i’m basically just waiting for it to grow) i’ve been looking for products that make me hate it less and this is perfect. It adds texture and volume and makes it look really shiny and in good condition. It also smells great. I would just start with a little bit and built up, as you’ll need less than you think. It’s recommended that it’s just for thick, coarse or dry hair and Since mine’s completely dried out from chlorine and bleach it definitely fits into this category, I don’t think it would suit an oily hair type very well as can be quite heavy. Retails for around £22.
Charlotte Tilbury The Feline Flick Eye Liner – this is the perfect eye liner for getting that flick just right, it’s a Fine Line Shodō Eyeliner Pen, so basically like drawing with a felt tip. It has a very fine, firm point so great for precise lines. When I apply this in the morning as part of my daily routine it has great staying power and lasts all day. Can get from Charlotte Tilbury website or Boots for £22.
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara – this has a longer brush which allows for better application than some other brands. It provides great lasting coverage through out the day, so definitely my new fave brow product. Just to note you should go for a darker colour than you think as they look much lighter on that the packaging suggests! £5.50 from Boots.
Has anyone tried any of these this spring? Or what are your February favourites?
